Site Human Resources Strategic Business Partner to support two critical manufacturing sites operating 24/7 in the Western United States Pueblo, CO and Hollister, CA. This is a new role, built with a mission to improve culture & morale at these newly acquired sites, and to ensure our staff members there have access to first class human resources support. This position will reside in the Pueblo, CO site with up to 30% travel to the Hollister, CA site.

As a Site HR Partner, you are responsible for hiring and onboarding team members, employee relations, performance management including supporting managers with low performing employees, training delivery and local compensation & benefits issues. As an important member of the site leadership teams, you will demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and relationship building skills. You will be the face of the HR department to the local employees and will be a critical bridge to the corporate HR and business leadership teams. Key accountabilities:

  • Advise & support local site management on all people issues, making or recommending appropriate decisions
  • Formulate, build consensus and implement cultural development initiatives in order to support the evolution of CMCs target culture on both sites
  • Build an environment of trust and self development, encouraging, and influential relationships with all levels of employee; become the first port of call for employees with problems, not the last
  • Perform full life-cycle recruiting for manufacturing, engineering and technical positions, as well as other functional areas as needed; recruiting hourly paid shift workers is a critical part of this role
  • Operations execution including management of HR data, providing reports and people-related analytics
  • Drive diverse HR initiatives, including resource planning, training, compensation, and recruitment locally

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years HR experience required, with HR experience working in a manufacturing environment or another Environmental Health and Safety focused environment.
  • Shown experience sourcing talent from entry level to management level.
  • Extensive experience in employee relations.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and HRIS systems
  • Knowledge of California labor law and regulations required.
  • Bi-Lingual (English and Spanish) is desired
